Hoodoo Land Holdings buys and holds large tracts of undeveloped land for future use in real estate development and/or mineral exploitation. Hunt Consolidated, Inc. currently operates its land as farms or ranches, managed by the internal company, Hoodoo Land Holdings.
It is the company's objective to improve the value of property and minimize the carrying costs of this land through agricultural operations. Hoodoo's properties are periodically evaluated to determine their part in Hunt's long-term strategy.
Depending on the circumstances, the properties will either be kept until the market determines that there is an opportunity for real estate development or mineral exploitation, or they will be sold or traded.
